5pm - 7pm: Pre-Concert Open House
Free admission to the special exhibition American Landscapes: Treasures from the Parrish Art Museum featuring Childe Hassam's Church at Old Lyme, 1906 (left).

7pm - 9pm: Dinners at the Farm
Using locally grown food from nearby farms, the chefs of River Tavern's Dinners-at-The-Farm will cook a delicious meal on site off the back of their vintage Ford truck. 7pm - 9pm: Free Concert by The Wolverine Jazz Band
Pick your spot along the Lieutenant River and enjoy the sounds of Dixieland and swing. This band has been thrilling audiences at national Jazz festivals. Sponsored by All Pro Automotive, the Graybill Family.

Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts

5pm - 7pm: Selected Student Work, Chauncey Stillman Gallery
This exhibition showcases the best current work done by students in all of Lyme Academy College's major programs, including the first-year Foundation program. Sally Seaman, Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs at the College, comments, "This show is a wonderful opportunity to see the curriculum made visible, and how the students' talent is cultivated through their four years here." The majority of works in the show will be for sale. Free admission.

5pm -7pm: Midsummer Reception
Live music, refreshments and two great exhibitions to enjoy: Old Lyme Landscapes: A Salute to Our Founders by LAA member artists, along with a special show of work by Hudson Valley Art Association members. As always, admission is free and donations are welcome.

9am - 3pm: Crafted-by-Hand: An Artisan Fair
Featuring area artists whose works include glass jewelry, fine silver jewelry, pottery, stationary, small original works of art, and more!

9am - 11:30am: Parading Paws Dog Show!
Does your dog have the best smile, longest tail, biggest paws??? Registration from 9-10am. Judging begins at 10:30am. Special categories include Best Trick and Best Costume! Sponsored by Vista Vittles ~ 100% Natural Treats for Dogs.

Participate in a variety of free hands-on creative projects provided by local cultural organizations.

In 1904 the St. Louis World's Fair introduced Fairy Floss, aka Cotton Candy. Join LYSB in some fluffy fun as we introduce Fairy Floss dolls to be hand crafted by you!

12pm: BEAT Shoreline Chef Competition
Five local en plein air market baskets. Five chefs. Four judges. One winner. Taking place on the stage on the banks of the Lieutenant River. Presented by the Bee & Thistle Inn and Spa.
Competing are Kris Rowe, chef at the Bee & Thistle Inn and Spa; Everett Reid, Chef Owner at Restaurant L & E and the French 75 Bar; Prasad Chirnomula, chef and owner of five Thali Restaurants and owner of Oaxaca; Jack Flaws from Jack Rabbit's in Old Saybrook; and Jonathan Vaast.
Judges include Jocelyn Ruggiero (Foodie Fatale), a food writer and performer; Sheldon Blake, PM Magazine’s Phantom Gourmet; Lee White, food writer and critique; and Amy Barry, writer.
Linnea Rufo, owner of the Bee & thistle Inn and Spa MCs.

The Lions will be on the grounds of the Lyme Academy College with their famous hamburgers and hot dogs.

10am - 12pm: Book Signing by David Handler
Edgar Award winning mystery author, David Handler will give a talk about his six novels featuring the mismatched crime-fighting duo of New York film critic Mitch Berger and Connecticut State trooper Desiree Mitry. Organized by Old Lyme PGN Library.
11:30am - 2pm: The College Café 'Al Fresco'
The College Café 'Al Fresco' offers tasty turkey wraps, amazing homemade chocolate chip cookies and fresh-squeezed lemonade and water. New this year, the delicious College salad will definitely tickle your tastebuds!

12pm - 2pm: Free Concert by Silver Hammer
This local rock and roll based band takes the best of old and new music with a twist. Classic, alternative, and indie styles bring an unexpected blend. Sponsored by Lymes' Youth Service Bureau.

12:30pm - 2:30pm: Take a Brake Bakery
Hartford's Only Mobile Cupcake and Pie Trucks
Cupcakes filled and frosted to order along with a wide variety of pies presented in their own individual cups. All recipes are homemade, using only the finest quality ingredients.

8am - 3pm: Espresso Café at the LAA
A new mobile coffee bar will be on hand serving locally roasted Green Marble coffee from Mystic, espresso drinks of all kinds, plus smoothies and fresh, locally-made pastries and cookies.

9am - 5pm: Two Beautiful Exhibitions on View
Old Lyme Landscapes: A Salute to Our Founders along with work from the Hudson Valley Art Association will be on view in the main galleries. Downstairs, our brand new gallery will feature the Anything Goes Art Sale, with affordable drawings, paintings and sculpture by our members.

All books are 50¢ each or 12 for $5.00. Organized by the Friends of the Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library.

Oxen and donkeys and llamas, oh my! A variety of creatures will pose for artists and animal lovers of all ages, and LAA members will give drawing and painting demonstrations throughout the day. Bring your own art supplies and join in the fun!
